This qualification provides a pathway to work in any hospitality industry sector as a departmental or small business manager. The diversity of employers includes restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops. This qualification allows for multiskilling and for specialisation in accommodation services, cookery, food and beverage and gaming.

Course delivery is through classroom-based face-to-face learning at the Campus locations for 14 hours per week. This is tailored for theoretical and practical training sessions by means of simulated workplace environments and group activities. An additional 6 hours of online learning is delivered through QIBA online learning platforms ZOOM and Learnbook (Moodle) thus comprising of a total of 20 hours of training delivery per week.

QIBA offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfers to students with existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience. The granting of course credit may affect course fees, as well as the duration of the course. Please contact us to receive further information.
