Respond to and initiate two role-plays in academic-related scenarios.

LanguageCert Academic is an internationally recognised English language test that assesses all four skills — Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking — at CEFR levels B1 to C2. It is designed for students and migrants who need to prove their English proficiency for university admission, professional registration, or Australian visa applications, including skilled migration, student, and temporary graduate visas.
LanguageCert Academic is fully approved by the Australian Department of Home Affairs and accepted by universities and TAFE institutions across Australia — covering the same ground as IELTS and PTE. Key differences: the Listening audio is played twice (not once), the Speaking test is conducted 1-to-1 with a live human interlocutor (not a computer), and results are delivered in 3–5 working days. Many students find it a more comfortable and accessible exam experience.
Yes. All tracks are available online via Microsoft Teams, so you can join from anywhere in Australia or overseas. If you choose the Combo and want to sit the test at one of our centres, you will need to travel to Sydney or Canberra for the test day.
LanguageCert Academic results are valid for two years from the date of the test. Always confirm the validity requirement with the specific institution or authority you are applying to.
Yes — you can enrol in the Combo now and arrange your official test date later. We will help you choose the right test and timing once you have progressed through the course, so your test date lines up with when you will be most prepared.
