QIBA has been a Registered Training Organisation since 1986. QIBA has been widely recognised as a pioneer in international education and has been home to more than 20,000 students from around the world.
The Academy delivers accredited courses in English Language, Business, IT, Leadership and Management at two CBD campus locations:

In addition, QIBA delivers Professional Year Internship (PYP) programs for IT graduates in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Hobart and the Gold Coast in partnership with the Australian Computer Society.
QIBA has built a global reputation and Trans National Education expertise through managing International Projects in China, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, New Caledonia and through designing Specific Purpose study tours. This includes the delivery of an off-shore University Preparation program in Tianjin, China at the University of Science and Technology (now in 2025, in its 19th year)

Quality Principles of the essential requirements of the Australian Computer Society (ACS)
QIBA has become an important feeder of International University pathway students. Pathways include University preparation English programs and AQF Diplomas which attract 1 year credit in most Australian Bachelor degree programs.
